Project Summary

Having previously worked with BrandPartners to renovate its headquarters office in Sioux City, IA, when Security National Bank's growth strategy included opening two new branches in the young, hip city of Sioux Falls, SD, an old friend, BrandPartners, was tapped to design and build these important branches.

Under the charter, Security National of South Dakota, two retail-oriented branches were designed and constructed in Sioux Falls, one serving as the headquarters and the other, a prototype branch as the bank continues to expand. Designed to be welcoming, less traditional and more retail oriented to appeal to a different demographic, the two locations have a very similar look and feel inside and out. A distinctive copper roof helps differentiate Security National from the competing financial institutions. The design is evolutionary, carrying forward the best elements of the headquarters redesign but adapted to meet the look and feel of the new market.
