Project Summary

Bangor Savings Bank has been serving Mainers for more than 150 years, gradually expanding its branch network to 46 branches in seven counties. With the growth spurt in the south coastal area of Maine, Bangor sought to establish a significant presence in a region that was not contiguous with its other branch locations. The expansion meant Bangor would have to introduce its brand and value proposition to new communities.

Bangor Saving Bank selected BrandPartners to design and build three branch locations in southern Maine concurrently. These three branches in the Portland, ME metro area were to be the first locations in the bank's new market as well as serve as a design prototype for new branches going forward.
