Project Summary
After being selected from a national design competition, BrandPartners drew upon historical data and artifacts to recreate a three-story museum in a building that had fallen into disrepair. The challenge was to create a functional and engaging space while maintaining the existing historical residential exterior.
BrandPartners made use of the building's exterior porch to create an inviting, enclosed entryway that served as an entryway into a transition room to each of the museum's three floors.
The first floor is a carefully restored reproduction of the first credit union's office, while the second floor, serves as a museum. The third floor resembles a New England town hall with an open community meeting room for credit union groups from across the country.
